Jeez, yesterday, and in jazz beats, my heart maxed out. I was in Ilkley with my Matt. We got to his dentist, when a doctor happened to be there. Ambulance put lights and sirens on as my veins collapsed. When they connected me to the machine my heart was on 175, with very irregular beats. Stayed like that for about two hours. They gave me two dosages of something to slow it. Matthew Briggs you star, and thank you to Jacob Briggs for getting to the hospital. This has scared the living daylights out of me. We don’t know if it’s Sarcoid related? Ffs…
You know, when ‘things’ from years gone by catch up, catch up because those from years gone by haven’t a clue how they remind us of those things, erm, things said.
So, after many months I sort of ‘blew’ and kind of said some things that are true. I don’t know, if someone continually harps on and, they annoy me, as to just how bad they have been… Anyway, point being, those who have treated other’s like they are ‘shit’ will never understand how it hurt’s us.
This game turned out to be really tough, once Wells had scored we thought it was going to be another walkover, we could see it on the pitch too. Colchester were very physical whereas the Bantams like to pass the ball about. At half time we were losing 2:1. The second half we were a different team, Wells scored the equalizer with a brilliant looping header, we could not believe the ball went in. A very worthy point but we are not going to win every home game!
This was the bantams first home ‘derby’ and what a game, talk about fast, this was contested at huge speed. Its like teams have to fight their way out of league two but play their way out of league one, its going to be a great season. Wells with a well taken strike on the verge of half time, and after De Vita had his fantastic shot stop Wells was waiting to ‘bobble’ the ball towards us. Wells 2, Sheffield Utd 0.
Matt was very tired after having a few late nights with his pals, but the chanting soon woke him up!
What a pretty good and welcome start to the football league 1 season for Bradford City, a huge win over Carlisle, Yeates with a fantastic drive, Wells with an incredible tight angled shot, Hanson using his wrong foot and Jones beating the goalie towards us!
A good few pints before the game went down very well.
It is almost here, I was going, then I wasn’t, I was going then not, and then my eldest son Jacob won two £72 tickets, I definitely am going with my youngest son Matthew! I was and still am a little worried health-wise, but I booked the Friday, Monday, and Tuesday off work. Had a great time with my Matthew and Jacob in Bradford while collecting the tickets.
My first ever try out at Nandos Bradford, very impressed thanks sons…
Best haircut ever there son! they do bottomless drinks, I asked if they would do bottomless Brahma, a very nice chilled drink.
Obviously Bradford City win, and it will be 4:3!!! C’mon you Bantams…
