I posted this as a comment on someone else’s FB status, as mine didn’t seem to be working? Anyways, this #JeremyClarkson thing is getting blown out of all proportion, by some who just don’t like him. oh, my comment;
Coming from Bradford. Through my life I’ve witnessed a lot of ‘positive’ discrimination – I think that’s the term? It’s ok for one group of folks to do/say something, but wrong for another. I saw a lot of this in healthcare, oh, healthcare, I had to turn Panorama off, now that needs investigating. Clarkson, yeah what a knob but that’s what Top Gear is all about, three blokes, mad on cars, and they are ‘cocks’ oh, that word, best watch what I say, some folks will get upset.
In my honest opinion; media, society, folks, who and whatever, the UK is going bonkers, yet other massive issues are out there. Foodbanks is a big issue with me, as are the homeless. Both very close to me…
Wednesday is a doc’s appointment. Just need to run through some stuff. Been on 100mg/day azathioprine for almost two months while we dropped the prednisolone from 20 to 15mg/day start of April. Body can seem to go up and down, peaks and troughs, same with the mind, but the fluoxetine is trying to control that? Chest pains can happen at night and certainly the lower back (kidneys?) can give me some shit…
Just a little article about Tuesday 8th April 2014.
Venue is Bradford’s St Georges Hall.
Event is the AMP Awards competition for the district.
The Rook performed three songs, absolutely brilliant and this is the order of playing;
And the winners were…
The Rook!
Which means they are at the grand final in the August bank holiday weekend of Galtres Parklands Festival, Duncombe Park, Helmsley.
This will be a fantastic weekend. Keep your eyes and ears well opened for one of the best bands to be arriving out of Yorkshire since, hmmm, in my opinion, well before the Artic Monkeys!
One thing is for sure, since doubling the dosage, my body seems to be screaming at me to stop taking the azathioprine. But, end of this March of 2014 I will be dropping the prednisolone from 20mg/day to 15/day, that’s a mighty 25% drop! The medics have said its quite important that we keep on top of the bloods and that I stay aware of what my body is telling me. Its telling me I feel a little fucked…
I’m lost for words. Share with all and all to share, this is simply beautiful, this is superb Jazz, this is Blues, Rock, and mainly Brotherly…
Have a great birthday mum. Love you and dad tons, and thanks for being brilliant.
After 10 months my Areca Palm has started to turn very dark green. Still has some nice silver green shoots but none are growing through. Is it ready for the spring and summer growing season? have I over watered it in the cold season? I have been advised to let the self watering pots completely empty and leave for a week or so? Here is how I am going to try and save this Areca Palm.
It is difficult to notice but the right side shoots can be seen to be very dark.
This food might help, I pushed three into the pot, erm, it might – hopefully, get massive with nice silver green shoots!?
Thing is, very tiny ‘gnats’ were hovering above the compost. These traps are suppose to catch them?
So, in a nutshell it’s going to be a waiting game with fingers crossed and lots of talking to my Areca Palm…
Ok and tend to lapse sometimes? but erm, anyway. Just an update on the sarcoidosis side of things. Photos say it all…
Yes the Prednisolone seems to have failed, even as high as 40mg/day. My body can not sustain that amount of chemical punishment. So, and as mentioned before, we are trying some Azathioprine, low dosage at 50mg/day, the idea is to drop the Pred and increase the Aza.
Airedale hospital have been great, as per that photo they are bringing appointments forward. I have plenty to ask but the idea of organ rejection drugs makes sense, my body rejects my healthy organs, so lets try?
Prefer to be better.
