  • Perfect, and to get it out there

My Washburn J3 through my Fender 212R sounds brilliant, video to follow but it even looks good.

Just look but don’t touch, in fact don’t even look at it, ha, well it is something like that in Spinal Tap, great movie, everyone should watch it and view all the stuff going on in the background.

My idea is to jump on public transport to open mic nights, with the J3, Bluesbreaker pedal and two leads, and so if it is an unplugged night I don’t plug in, if its plugged then I rock it up a little, a little lot, or a lot of little distortion, or just crank it up.

  • Works party tonight

Its here, its time, its time to remind myself and let common sense prevail somewhat, sussed out what to wear…

I was going to go into work without my rucksack as I did not want to take it or a coat, im going straight to the party after work so I will be taking the rucksack with the wool jumper in it, once there I can put my raincoat into it, and put the jumper on if need be.

Since starting work I really have felt oddly better, but I must remember my skin, lungs and eyes can be quite dreadful in the cold – and hot! looking forward to my first works Christmas party in a long time, and with many more to come, I just can not wear, or drink what my mind tells me to…

And I best not wear this Czech military coat for work just yet, if anyone feels cold in one of these then stay at home, its mega warm, looks too new so once worn in I may dare to venture into work with it.

  • Colourful boxers

    As can be seen on my site, I love colours; hats, socks and scarves, today I realised something was missing;

You see, today on the bus to Ilkley train station I realised I had been ignoring some vital areas for clothes, and that it is the works Christmas party on the night of Friday 7th Dec, tomorrow! hmmm, never have I had nice ‘undies’ and so my first three pair, its going to be a hard decision which to wear yet, erm, nope, on this occasion you will not see me with the on, oh… Just to say they are from Burtons, 95% cotton and feel great!

  • Careful on them there steps

Obviously as the cold creeps in, through, and out of us then the steps can also become dangerous…

What appears here is the ice and snow, but, oh no all is not what these slippery steps seem! too much salt almost cost me a slippery stumble down some steps, yes its salt – in huge dosages, hang on, falling down steps? I could reply to the daily text messages and phone calls asking me to claim for the accident I never and will not have!

  • How to make a huge salad sandwich easy

So much is mentioned about folks getting the five per day, erm, obviously not sex, that would be more like one per five years! no, the mind drifts, im talking the biggest best salad sandwich that will give you between two and three of your five per day, just follow these messy guidelines, all for about £2 and you wont go wrong!

All you need is four slices of long lasting type brown bread, wholemeal I think its called, hmmm, all supermarkets call it differing names – obviously! oh, and butter a side each, not both sides now, and just throw loads of sweet crispy salad on there, don’t be shy!

These salad sandwiches are nice and fat, the problems now start with just trying to drop them into the tub, they do slide about a little due to the quantity of the honey and mustard dressing, but it only has a couple of days before it turns to penicillin and so you well understand that it needs using, using up…!

The end game would result in one winner, the lid with the sheer force on my helping it, these are huge and tasty sandwiches, can you smell them, hmmm, oh, its my chicken and mash in the oven.

  • Chicken curry with a large side salad

I know, I know, Ok! but it tasted gorgeous, its really not something to mix, never mind a huge amount of it, yes cold slow slapped massively on the side of my curry – home cooked! my mouth is watering just thinking about it, try it, go on, just do it…

  • Sputnik or did you say spud nip?

Maybe it’s just me, I probably have posted this before, but the reminders that this is the closest I have got to this shape in the last four years, three months, one week and, erm, I certainly are not counting but a hand helps!

  • First pay day and to shelter

The thing is, what do you do on your first pay day, having some spare cash has been brilliant, learning to live on £72 per week means I hope to save quite abit, and then taking myself and my lads on holiday arrives, loads of great thoughts…

Two bottles bought as I feel very worthy of them! Was given a great idea about a video last night, though I decided not to make it!

That’s just about all my older clothes now gone to Shelter, I put some cash in Marie Curie, though decided not to sign the book, singer Paul, friend Tracy and uncle’s Ken and Barry. I also get the big issue, im a very lucky person and have restocked my clothes.

    “Odin…” oh, thats another film.

“I’m Spar, ‘no I am…” I am good Stu though!!!

  • Charity, Ssafa and the RBL

Potentially I have not mentioned enough about these charities? if it weren’t for them, especially Ssafa – thanks Joanie! then I would dare not think too much, as selling the big issue would have probably not been enough. My thoughts; to do a few really in-depth blogs how the charities pretty much rescued me after the various parts of the governments systems – illness – pretty much abandoned me, a terrific women at Bradford’s ‘open moves’ started a ball moving, and to think on, I need to thank her otherwise it were shelter.

These last few months I have given so much clothing to Ilkley shelter, another tangent, once (hoping) I get fully settled and at ease with working full time then I’m certainly going to volunteer my possible spare time to charity, honestly, too much to mention for a simple post, thing is, its also on my mind to write something in-depth about Remploy, and how I ended up with them, the honest truth, some really nice folks do work at the Keighley job centre plus, im harping on a lot now…

As a sub note, I really am tempted to write about the organisations that take on ‘folks’ through Remploy, but that needs more thought as perhaps organisations might not want too?

  • Breakdown live

The best original band I have ever had pleasure in viewing, superb guys, superb…

I were going to mention something under each photo, I struggled, you all complement each other big time, a big fat sound with very clear vocals, just brilliant, keep those songs arriving!
