Living with sarcoidosis, the good, the bad, and lots of in between.

I do need to say.

What do I need to say? I dont often comment about some ‘issues’ in my life but; I divorced my X wife in 2003, now for those dads who ended up going through the single dads system, you will understand and im afraid no-one else (inc X wifes) really will. The system helped me lose my way big time, its now time to start keeping back on track… anyways… The private gig on the 25th is a family ‘do’ I asked my X if I could take my boys… the answer was that she says we are a set of ‘Junkies’… yes all those cyclist I guess are on drugs ha… for anyone who knows us then you will know, in fact I dont even have to say…

Yes her answer was to say its best if my boys dont see me as much… some one needs to wake up and it certainly isn’t me, as my poem says- a future diamond will find me.

Rant finished!!!

No I missed it, watched it a long time ago… Big Boots Elton.

  2. Dave and Don deffo. Jim says he will if Noddy will. Noddy says “never, but everyone has a price”.
There is big talk on the Slade mailing list of trying to get them back for one big gig for all the hard core fans, as everyone else is doing it. To be honest I can’t see Nod agreeing. This annoys a lot of fans who have supported them over the years, even when they were at their lowest in the late 70’s and early 80’s we still bought the records. Even now buying all the remastered CD and DVD’s. Nod is living of the back of it and promoting it. So they/we want something in return even if its a one off. On a vote through Stromoe 200,000!! said they would buy tickets if it came off. Now that would be CRAZEE. 🙂

Good film actually… They all so ugly… and yes memories… very different, Tell you what though, Dave Hill has great presence on stage… Hes good, will the original band ever get back together???

  4. Don’t need lines to sniff sniff. Full o’ chuffin’ cold again!

Make sure you watch from start. Feel of film is a bit like ‘Kes’. The foundery is where Don Powell used to work.

Supposed to be set in late 60’s but as a kid to me was just like early 70’s and as I watch on DVD now memories come back as if I was back there, gripping stuff.

No gamesboys then tha knows, hoop and stick when I were a lad. Once lost me hoop or some one nicked it when I were out, and I was stuck, couldn’t get home, ‘ad to ring me dad as I only had me stick. 😉 Oh happy days
